Tie In: BJJ Notebook ("Tie In") helps users organize jiu-jitsu techniques, positions, training plans, notes, and media. This policy explains what information Tie In handles and why.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, Tie In uses your email address and a Firebase user identifier to authenticate you.
User content. Tie In stores the information you choose to add, which may include techniques, positions, training plans, proficiency information, journal entries, notes, dates, links, photos, and videos.
Cloud backups. If you use backup features, copies of your Tie In library and associated media are stored in Firebase services so your content can be restored.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide app functionality: signing you in, saving and restoring your content, displaying your personal training library, and responding to support requests.
Services we use
Tie In uses Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage to provide accounts and cloud backups. Google processes this information as a service provider under its own security and privacy terms.
No tracking or advertising
Tie In does not sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or track users across apps and websites. Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics are not enabled.
Sharing
We do not share your personal information or user content with third parties except service providers needed to operate Tie In, when you direct the app to share something, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
Your account information and cloud backups are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. To request deletion of your Tie In account and associated cloud data, email garyoden76@gmail.com from the email address connected to your Tie In account.
Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards and Firebase security controls to protect stored information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Tie In is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as Tie In changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
